Litigation and lawsuits regarding asbestos exposure have been beginning to take place for several years, and it’s something that has cost the United States a lot of money in particular.  The number of aspestos exposure cases have increased in the past ten years, and estimates lead towards it continuing to grow.  This trend has led to a large number of lawsuits in the United States being “pending,” and this is largely because the large amount of money involved in the cases.

Companies who have been sued in particular have leaned towards explanations for the exposure such as that the “exposure hasn’t caused any obvious symptoms.”  This is largely an attempt, on their part, to avoid paying out a suit to the opponent in a case.  However, many companies have went bankrupt and out of existence due to the expensive nature of lawsuits related to asbestos.  It is recommended that if you are someone who is or has been exposed to asbestos, you file a suit and ensure your health isn’t being put into danger.
